Fat Buddha Sunderland Review

On a gloriously sunny day, we found ourselves at the Seaside hunting out lunch that wasn’t fish and chips. The queues were horrendous and with 2 hungry souls to be fed after a long walk, we needed a new plan! The all new Fat Buddha Sunderland at Seaburn has opened up in the prime seafront location. With views out over the sands and the sea, we headed in for a Thai lunch.

Hiding out in the first floor of Liberty Browns in Sunderland, Saucy Burger has slipped under a lot of peoples radars and arrived on the NE dining scene without too much fuss.

Conveniently located off Wessington Way on the outskirts of the city, we fought through the Saturday crowds to try out the burgers.

If you are familiar with the area, you’ll well be able to remember the previous incarnations of the old pub in Rickleton village in Washington that San Lorenzo calls home.

Recently revamped, San Lorenzo leads the building in its current guise as a modern Italian restaurant.
