Have you visited the Metrocentre since it revamped and expanded the eateries available in the Qube? There’s plenty of choice from the big chains and usual suspects but our favourite is Thaikhun which offers a taste of Thai street food right here in the North East.
On a gloriously sunny day, we found ourselves at the Seaside hunting out lunch that wasn’t fish and chips. The queues were horrendous and with 2 hungry souls to be fed after a long walk, we needed a new plan! The all new Fat Buddha Sunderland at Seaburn has opened up in the prime seafront location. With views out over the sands and the sea, we headed in for a Thai lunch.
Hiding out in the first floor of Liberty Browns in Sunderland, Saucy Burger has slipped under a lot of peoples radars and arrived on the NE dining scene without too much fuss.
Conveniently located off Wessington Way on the outskirts of the city, we fought through the Saturday crowds to try out the burgers.
