I’ve been lucky enough to travel throughout Italy but I know I have barely scratched the surface of beautiful places to visit. The Husband has only been to Rome so returning to Italy is high on our to-do list and up at the top is Sicily.

Following on from my last review of the Furnace Creek Resort in Death Valley, I wanted to share some more snaps of our visits to Death Valley itself. The hottest place in the world certainly sounds impressive but you’d be surprised by just how much beauty you’ll find in the hot barren corner of California.
Essaouira sits on the western coast of Morocco in North Africa. With heat baked summer days and a gentle sea breeze it is a mecca for short breaks and city exploring. Only a couple hours drive from the main tourist hotspots of Agadir and Marrakech, it’s a relaxing day trip.
