Garnier Moisture Bomb Hydrating Mist

Garnier Moisture Bomb Hydrating Mist

I do this every time I travel – I want to change up my skincare routine to really maximise the extra time I have. On long haul flights I like to carry a misting spray to both cool me down, keep me feeling fresh and of course, deliver hydration to parched skin. A great high street affordable version is Garnier Moisture Bomb Hydrating Mist.

Usually costing £9.99 but currently around half price in Boots, the gang at Garnier have expanded their moisture line to incorporate an ultra fine hydrating moisture mist.

Designed to be used at any point in your day, you can layer the Moisture Bomb Hydrating Mist with base products such as your daily moisturiser and primer or throughout the day over your make up.

I have been applying this daily on top of my moisturiser and under my primer just to help cool my skin down on these hot mornings.  If you use it at the recommended 15cm, the mist is fine and light and dries down quickly. It’s not refreshing as a more ‘wet’ spray such as Caudalie or Evian but it’s not designed to be the same. It doesn’t disrupt my foundation when I use it mid day either.

I have been using the Moisture Bomb Hydrating Mist as a refresher on flights and laying it with a moisturiser to keep me hydrated and feeling fresh. The lightweight aerosol can means it’s easier to throw in to your handbag for touch ups throughout the day if you are feeling tight from the sun and heat. With UV blockers and an SPF30, it’s a great on the go product. You can mist and go without worrying about clean hands for applying traditional moisturiser.

Is it effective enough to replace your daily moisturiser? No not at all. It is a supplementary product to your routine to keep on top of hydrating. If you are a fan of the brilliant Garnier Moisture Bomb sheet mask, then you will want to try this.

Whether you are travelling, hitting festivals or just chilling in your garden, Moisture Bomb Hydrating Mist is a great product to reach for if your budget doesn’t stretch to Caudalie or Elizabeth Arden et al. It’s great to see high street versions rolling out in stores.
