It is our 9th wedding anniversary today. 9 whole years of being married. Not bad going for a 32yr old I guess, especially as we have been together for 14yr in total!
We had a civil ceremony in a beautiful 11th Century Castle in Northumberland surrounded by 32 acres of beautiful countryside. We had the place to ourselves and it was a magical day, not having to share our big day with any other wedding parties.
Private use was very important to us and of course it took a lot longer to save up but it’s not something I’d ever change – I would change the guest list though but that’s a whole different story!

I just got married last month and we’ve been together for 11 years so I’m kinda sad that our anniversary count is going to be so low for a while! Haha xx
