Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm

Nuxe Reve de Miel

For years, I avoided the hype around the infamous Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm (£9.50) based purely on the fact I hate anything to do with honey and it was expensive.

It may well be a cult classic and now I have tried it, I can see why……

I finally got round to checking it out in the Duty Free on board the DFDS ship on the way back from Holland and was very pleasantly surprised it neither smells or tastes of honey. Big thumbs up from me. If anything, I find it quite orangey.

This thick, luxurious balm goes a long way but applies so thickly to your lips, you can almost feeling it doing good instantly. Colourless and without much of a glossy finish, it is the perfect thing for dry, chapped or cracked lips. I suffer with all three and I haven’t found anything as soothing or comfortable to use. It lasts ages, even drinking, which makes it perfect for when you are out and about in this crisp autumn air as you are well protected.

As an added bonus, it keeps the lips perfectly supple for the dreaded dark matte lip season – a season that torments those of us with the dreaded chapped lips!

Yes, it is expensive as far as lip balms go but I am most definitely converted. It will last you longer than most lip balms so it is probably an investment for this autumn & winter.

Do I recommend it? Yes. Will I be buying it again? Hell Yes.

I really like the sound of this. I love Nuxe products and they don’t seem to have any adverse effects on my skin so I think I’ll see if I can source this.

I’m sure it was £2 off on either feel unique or lookfantastic. One of those kinda sites making it only £7
