I love a good hand cream but I am incredibly fickle when it comes to scents. I like them to smell nice of course but I don’t like anything remotely floral or sickly. Lately I haven’t been able to get enough of Crabtree & Evelyn hand therapy lotion.
I buy the small size and carry one everywhere with me.
The Gardeners Hand Therapy is my favourite and has a very natural, botanical scent with a very light touch of lavender. It smells to like a spa treatment and just breathing the scent in while applying it is quite relaxing.
I am also loving the avocado hand therapy and the honey and peach. The Nantucket scent is Mother Tramp’s favourite as it is a very clean and fresh scent.
The hand therapy is rich and nourishing without leaving a greasy film on your hands. Being chained to my desk 12hrs a day, the heels of my hand and the side of my little finger really dry out and get sore but the Hand Therapy lotions really protect and care for my skin.
At present, in my local Crabtree & Evelyn store (Dalton Park, Durham), the hand lotions are reduced to £1.50 as they are phasing out the metal based tubes in favour of the plastic tubes. It’s the perfect time to pick up a bargain and the stores even offer a complimentary hand therapy treatment too.
