Hello Lovelies

Another week and BOY has it been a busy one! I think I need a week off work just to recoup!

This week has seen the opening of the first of two Simply Be store openings in the North East, 2 visits to the Living North fair, some self indulgent shopping and a trip to see The Hunger Games!

My Simply Be store opening outfit, stylish, smart and comfy. Maroon skinny jeans (which are now faaaar too big round the waist!!), simple Navy Blue silk long shirt, taupe KG ballet flats, antique skeleton key on a chain. It’s on rare occasions that in pictures I can tell how much weight i’m losing.

My freshly re-appearing cheekbones, Chanel Bronze Universal + Nars Lustre Blush.

Lunch and drinks with my Mam on Saturday after Living North.

I bought this gorgeous american flag scarf from a local shop and it just jumped out at me begging to be bought. My Dad grew up in America so the US always has a very very special place in my heart. I love nothing more than hearing his stories from 1950s America, as well as my Grandma and Uncle’s stories too. It’s no wonder i’m obsessed with 50s Americana is it! This looked amazing with a plain black top to jazz it up. I will no doubt use this when I go to to America again later this year too!

Following lunch and shopping, I took her to the Baltic Art Gallery in Newcastle as she had never been. Mr Tramp is an amazing photographer and I have a keen eye and passion so it’s one of our favourite place, The Quayside, for a bit of urban photography and people watching. Sadly these were impromptu snaps using my phone. It was super misty!

Today, the supposed day of rest, we headed to a local shopping centre to see The Hunger Games in IMAX… the jury is still out on the film I think. It was good… but I was a bit disappointed in it not being better BUT, yes there is a but, I absolutely LOVED Woody Harrelson as Haymitch and Lenny Kravitz as Cinna. Genius!

While I was out, I finally stocked up on a back up MAC MSFN Light Plus as well as picking up some gorgeous rose gold and bright coral suede pumps for work.

We finished the day off with a very tasty sunday lunch and drink in a beer garden and admired the view – ha ha!

    Love the pink bow shoes!

You can really tell how much weight you have lost especially in the first picture, you’re looking amazing (not that you didn’t before)

      Aw thanks love.

The shoes are so cute and dirt cheap. Don’t think my quick snaps from my phone showed up the true coral colour as its pinked out the MSFN.
