Tesco Plus Size Clothing gem find

Tesco Plus Size Clothing gem find

Hello Lovelies,

Whilst doing my weekly shopping, I nipped up to the clothing section in Tesco. Not somewhere I’d usually go to buy my clothes but still worth a look right? Glad I did as I spotted a gorgeous long line silky shirt in a multitude of colours!

The shirt is available in 6 different shades ( White, Navy, Mustard, Salmon, Rust & Jade Green) for £14 each and I picked up the mustard, white and navy as I thought this would give me the widest range of looks.

The shirt is a silky synthetic fabric that does crease quite badly but if you are ok with that then these shirts are for you!

I have worn them over skinny jeans with a blazer and statement jewellery for a formal look, over bootcut jeans for a day out and tucked in to a pencil skirt and trousers for work and the shirts looked perfect on all occasions. You can see me wearing the navy shirt over red skinny jeans here :

And here with wide leg jeans and a blazer
I’m a big fan of items that you can wear on more than one occasion. I need my clothes to take me from a casual day at work to a formal business meeting with my clients to a night out with the girls in a posh bar. For £14 each, you can’t go wrong with these shirts.
I believe these shirts go up to a size 28 in the F&F True line so great for plus sizes. I will say they aren’t THAT baggy, certainly not as baggy as they look on the hanger so if you are looking for that loose oversized look, size up or if you want more fitted, size down.
Have you checked out Tesco’s clothing range? Are you a fan? Would you buy clothes in a Supermarket or like me would you never usually check them out?

In the store light I was worried that the jade looked a little cheap, if you know what I mean but I’ve seen a colleague wearing it and its a much richer shade when not in glaring store lights.

I love supermarket clothes, ethically not the greatest but because of their huge buying power they are fashion forward, quick turnaround and they keep the price point down, I love tesco and asda x

I use Asda to stock up on cheap on trend items for styles and prints that I know I’ll only get minimal wear from.

Would rather pay £8 for a top I’ll use for 2 month than £50 for example.

I agree that supermarket clothes can actually be really rather fab…the fact they’re affordable but have their finger on the pulse of fast fashion means that I can tap into trends I’d otherwise miss out on…although Asda and Sainsbury’s need to up their sizes a tad so I can wear them more easily! But I’m loving these shirts, and I must say that Tescos plus size range seems to be getting a little bit better than what I’ve previously encountered!
