8 things all country girls know to be true

Country Girl Rules

If you’re a townie, you can probably smell the difference between your local coffee shops or smell the fresh sea air from your front door but when you’re a country girl and you live in the countryside, you learn to differentiate the smells of which manure the local farmers are spreading on their fields (Pig poo is the worst!) and you think going to a country fair is the highlight of your weekend.

Holidays…. Cash or Card?

How to wear harem pants for Summer

harem pants

If you look in my holiday suitcase or even in my wardrobe, you’ll see a massive stack of jersey harem pants in just about every colour or pattern you can imagine. Maybe it’s an addiction or maybe they are just so damned comfy.

I like to wear mine loose, with a vest top and sandals to be comfortable in the heat but the patterned trouser also makes you look a little more polished and put together than shorts or leggings. Yes you can get some massive baggy ridiculous ones but most high street stores now are stocking a more streamlined structured style of harems.

You can guarantee when I next go on holiday in September, I’ll be wearing them a lot, like I did in America back in May.

I’ve had a few doses of negativity and drama since I got back but I have found it so easy to just cut it and the guilty offenders out of my life instead of fretting about it. I think I have the holiday to thank for that as I don’t want anyone to bring down my relaxed mood!

It seems like I am not the only one wanting inner peace and to minimise stress levels so I have some super handy hints and tips from todays guest – Rebecca Moore
