Sunderland Restaurant Week September 8th – 16th 2018
Way back at the beginning of August I took advantage of the sunny weather and whisked myself off to the coast to finally try The Herb Garden Harbour, located 5 minutes from the Royal Quays.
After a long bracing walk along the Quayside, what would be better than a hot tasty Sunday roast? We headed to The Bridge Tavern to fill up on home cooked comfort food.
The weekend was foodie heaven for us, trying lots of new places but I was most excited to tell you all about Kiln. Half pottery studio half cafe, this little corner of Ouseburn is a must-visit for a relaxed coffee or delicious food.
Rarely does an eatery get a follow up review here on the website but every now and then something special comes along. This is the second time Broom House Farm has made an appearance and you know what, it probably wont be the last as I am continuously impressed.
