Hello Lovelies,
Normally, I don’t fall quite so hard in love with a nail polish but this beauty is the exception.
I bought Bijoux Baby on a whim in Boots the other day as everything was buy 1 get a 2nd half price, so I thought for half price I’d give it a punt.
In the bottle, it doesn’t look like something I would ever consider. It’s a peachy pink and then running through it is the most pretty, complex glitter I have seen in a long while. Green toned gold, rose gold, peach and pink shimmer glitter brings this textured polish ALIVE.
It’s fully opaque in 2 coats and has a rough texture to it. Nothing a good top coat couldn’t solve.
I am having my nails done tonight so I shall be taking this with me and not letting the bottle out of my sight. I swatch all my polishes on blanks and was just so captivated I had to share!
It doesn’t photo as well as I would like but I think even though a couple are out of focus, these photos show all the colours. It’s a true real life beauty.
For £3.99, available from Boots, I think I will be hot footing it back for all the colours.
I’m even sitting at my desk now marvelling at the prettiness of the polish on the nail blank.
Hello Lovelies,
There’s one thing I usually shy away featuring on my website and that’s facial skin care. Mostly because I find it so prescriptive to each individual, I don’t feel best placed to tell you what to buy, I can only share my experiences of having hypersensitive dehydrated skin.

Hello Lovelies,
As you all know, I’m a bit of a sucker for my hair to be icy white and as cool as my cold stone heart (lol) but if you have ever been on this quest, you’ll know how hard it is to banish those pesky warm tones.
Thankfully I’m a natural blonde so I don’t have too much to contend with but unless I go to a salon….. reaching the perfect cool tones at home is bloody tiresome.
This is where Scott Cornwalls Colour Restore comes in. It has truly transformed my hair routine and I will not be parted from my trusty tube! Priced at £11.99, you can buy it from exclusively from Boots, www.keepmeinspired.co.uk or directly from the Scott Cornwall Website HERE which accepts a myriad of different payment types including Paypal which gets a humungous thumbs up from me!
Depending on your desired results, the handy, simple instructions give you 3 different ways to tone your hair. A rinse through for subtle toning, a medium length tone for mid level changes and an intensive tone for the full effect.
Ice Platinum promises to do the following wonderful things :
Hello Lovelies,
I will hold my hands up, with real life getting in the way of my blog life and the pressures put on me, I have neglected trying this product to it’s fullest.
My poor skin has been looking appallingly dry, dehydrated and sallow of late so I thought enough enough and on with the mask! Applying the mask is an absolute delight.
The light, fruity scent is very natural and not overpoweringly synthetic and is a cooling, thick, creamy formula. Not too unlike rubbing a posh yoghurt on your face… in the nicest possible way – honest. It’s lovely!
I left the mask on for the full recommended time and then rinsed off. What was left behind was plump, hydrated skin that had lost that horrid grey tinge to it!
Thankfully, being hypersensitive, I have not had any reactions to the mask nor any breakouts as this doesn’t have any harsh astringents or purifying properties that would draw the nasties out of hiding.
I am very careful about what kind of face products I use, and rightly so, but this definitely gets a stamp of approval for sensitive skin that’s lacking in lustre. You can buy the Dr Renauds mask on the Dr Renaud website for £19.45 and also on the M&S website, but it is slightly more expensive but if you’re putting an order in for clothes, why not! Worth every single penny!
