View PostConveniently located for both a business or pleasure traveller, the Fairfield Inn & Suites New Orleans Downtown/French Quarter Area is my top hotel tip for New Orleans. In the historic Interstate Electric Company building, a recent newcomer to the hotel scene, we loved our stay.
If you haven’t heard of Monument Valley, I can guarantee you’ve seen it in a movie or music video. Part of the Canyonlands of Utah, Monument Valley National Park is a must-see on your America bucket list.
When we found out we’d be in New Orleans 4th July, we were a bit nervous about what to expect. Would there be a Deep South welcome for us or would be stand out like a sore thumb on Independence Day? There was only one way to find out!
