Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Review

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Review

Everyone needs a little help to perk up their skin once in a while. Although people are veering away from manual exfoliation after years of battering our skin with apricot kernels, there’s lots of new gentle giants on the market. The Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant is a gentle and safe manual exfoliation to brighten dull skin.

I have been struggling with dry patches on either side of my nose that no moisturiser or serum will touch but thanks to the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant I am able to get rid of them gentle and safely.

Using rice enzymes for the physical exfoliation and salicylic acid to pep the skin up, the dry powder doesn’t look like it should do much – but boy does it.

To use,  add a 50p size heap of powder to soaking wet hands and use your fingers tips to make it in to a paste. The beauty of the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant is that it is totally prescriptive to your skin. If you want a smoother gentle exfoliation, increase the water to powder ratio but if you want to get right in there for a tough job, increase the powder.

Once the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant is mixed, I apply it to target areas on my face with my finger tips for a deeper exfoliation and then finish off the full face with gentle circles using my whole hand with less pressure.

I have very sensitive skin and can use this without an issue at all. As you control the texture and pressure you’ll be able to find what works for you.

For all the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant can indeed be used daily, I use it once or twice a week to keep the surface of my skin looking smooth and perfect under make up.

What do you use to exfoliate your face? Let me know!
