Style – Autumn Casual

Autumn Casual Outfit

As happy as I am the weather is most definitely turning, I am desperately trying to cling on to those last couple of weeks of T-Shirt weather just to show off my sun tan!

I find Autumn to be perfect for casual outfits. Cosy layering, slouchy knits and transitional pieces from the summer still lingering round so I have found my current go-to outfit to be different variations of this one I am showing you today!

Double breasted Mac   |   £45   |   Simply Be

A mac is one of those effortless wardrobe staples we should all have. This is lightweight enough to be worn if the sun is out, but lined to keep you toasty warm on those cold morning commutes. It hides a multitude of sins underneath to make you look pulled together.

Striped T-shirt   |   £9.99   |   New Look

Another staple and maybe just a slight nod to my up coming trip to Paris. Stripe tops are clean and classic and you really can wear them under a suit for work or with slouchy jeans and trainers here for a sophisticated weekend casual look.

Distressed Jeans   |   £35   |   ASOS Curve

I’m lucky that I can wear jeans every day for work so I have plenty pairs to mix and match. I like a ripped boyfriend cut pair as they are relaxed and comfy but if you switch out the top and shoes for heels, you can go from day to night and straight out to a bar after work!

The shoes switch on my mood but mostly I have been wearing my Utopia by BOBS from Skechers (Reviewed here) or a pair of heeled booties like the Brecon’s from Clarks to mix it up.

I switch out the top for different ones depending on my mood – aged band shirts or plain white tee’s are always a good choice!

How do you keep it casual in Autumn and still feel pulled together?
