KIKO Sun Protection

KIKO Sun Protection Review

It’s a month until I go on holiday again and I am starting to get a bit excited.

This summer I have been using KIKO Sun Protection and I wanted to share my thoughts on it with you as I love it!

The KIKO Sun Protection line is probably quite overlooked as most people will be heading to the store for make up goodies but I have been absolutely loving their sun range this summer.

I have been using the Tan Intensifier (£13.20) to keep my skin hydrated and catch those few rays of sun on a daily basis. It has a low SPF but my skin doesn’t burn so it has been fine for hot days in England. The product itself is a worryingly black gloop in the jar but when you scoop a little out and rub it in, it sinks in super fast. It isn’t oily so you can dress and carry on as usual.

The Solar Protect Stick (£6.90) came in handy on holiday to keep on hand for quick touch ups where we had rubbed or sweated off our other SPF. I can tell you, Death Valley in June will make everyone sweat…. you need to stay on your SPF game. Easy to apply and discrete for topping up on the go.

My favourite has been the Solar Protect Balm (£6.20) for those days you are in the sun and make up free but want to both protect the delicate skin on your lips and look a little bit polished too. I will be throwing this in my beach bag ready for my next hols for that beach to bar glam. A light formula that sits well on the lips and doesn’t feel too heavy or cloying in the sun like thicker lip SPFs can.

As I am a blonde, I am always very careful about avoiding burning my scalp and hair line. Using the Protect Stick is great for the hair line but putting sun tan lotion in to your hair is the worst feeling ever. Yuk! The Dry Haircare Oil Spray (£10.40) has a SPF and makes protecting your scalp a doddle. I pump the oil in to the palm of my hand and then use my fingers to run the oil along my parting and front of my hair. The oil will keep your hair in tip top condition and protect from colour fade.

KIKO Sun Protection Review

As I am writing this, I am looking down at my arms and admiring my tan which I have been keeping topped up with the Tan Intensifier . Dehydrated skin doesn’t look glowy!

I really like the KIKO sun protection line, it does the job well a
nd most importantly…. there’s nearly always a sale or discount code to be found for KIKO which brings the price down even more!

Happy sunning!
