The Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Reviver

The Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Boost Review

I am pretty happy with my skin care routine and the results I get but every now and then I have a sallow day where I look a bit gaunt and my skin lacks that usual sparkle. You know this always happens on days when you don’t have an hour to spare to give yourself a mask and some skin pampering, oh no,  you notice on those mornings where you have 15 minutes to get up, washed, clothed and out the door.

I have been relying on the Vitamin C Skin Reviver from The Body Shop to help perk up my skin.

Typically, I bought my latest bottle of the Vitamin C Skin Boost right before the packaging was changed so I should forewarn you that the pictures refer to the old packaging but this product has been revamped in to a sexy new bottle and called the Vitamin C Skin Reviver. Same product, new name.

Either way, the product is a citrus packed punch of happy for the skin. With a strong orange scent that does dry down, the consistency is a lightweight gel formula that spreads beautifully on the skin with no drag making application a dream.

There’s a slight opalescence to the gel which doesn’t translate to the skin so there’s no fake glittery sheen which some skin boosters rely on. No one wants to look like Edward Cullen at their 9am meeting!

I prefer to wear this as a primer, right under my make up as my foundation glides on without effort and the slip the Skin Reviver provides leaves me looking flawless. If foundation isn’t your thing, it leaves your skin looking plumped and ready for the day without feeling heavy or tacky.

For £16, this little bottle of wonder has really mixed up my daily make up routine, a little goes a very long way and I can’t wait to check out more of the Vitamin C range.
