There’s a new girl on the block and her name is Plum Shimmer!
Clarins have added an 8th shade in to their legendary line up of Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors (£18) which has just launched…. and I am in love.
I was very late to the party with these but when I took a leap of faith on the recommendation of one of my lovely Twitter followers, I picked up a couple in the airport last summer and I finally got the hype.
The thick, luxurious barely tinted balms have not left my side ever since so when I heard they were launching a new shade, I was all over that.
Plum Shimmer is a fairly pigmented balm that still looks beautifully natural on those no make up days but adds a hint of subtle polished glam. A deep berry shade, it definitely leans more towards a wine on me than a plum but the colour can be built. I have been wearing this over a lip pencil for a long lasting glam lip.
It is a non sticky, formula that wears well and softens the lips. A little goes a long way and these squeezy tubes just seem to go on for ever and ever.
