An absolute steal of a bargain from KIKO, this bad boy lasts all day, regardless of what you are doing.
The Matte Muse Lipstick in shade Luxury Sangria (£6.90) is a gorgeous deep, plummy red shade. Perfect for this time of year.
The packaging does look like a nail polish, no denying that but the unique little doe foot applicator really helps get the product on smoothly and effortlessly. You can sculpt a sharp cupids bow with the applicator which makes mid day top ups simple. Not that you really will need to top up as it is ultra long lasting.
It dries down quite quickly to a matte finish but it isn’t chalky or drying. I have been dabbing a little clear balm on throughout the day because as much as I love the longevity of a matte lipstick, I prefer something with a little slip.
The deep wine red shade will suit all skin tones as it is a multi faceted rich tone. On me it pulls more to the plummy side of red whilst on my Mam it stays to a truer berry red shade. For £6.90, you can’t pass this gem by.
I most definitely need to get the pillar box red shade next!
