John Frieda Beach Blonde Cool Dip Shampoo and Smooth Seas Detangling Conditioner

Being a blonde, it is always a nerve wracking time slipping in to a swimming pool filled with Chlorine. Will my highlights go green? While my blonde go sludgy? Will it feel like straw? All common concerns!

I haven’t been overly impressed with anti chlorine products, least of all ones aimed at blondes. I always prefer to use non specialised products. That is until I tried the new John Frieda Beach Blonde range. Not that the range is new, it was much loved and then sadly discontinued. Fear not, it is BACK!

The Cool Dip Shampoo (£5.99) and Smooth Seas Detangling Conditioner (£5.99) are both jam packed with mint for purification and nourishing seaweed extract and really leave your hair feeling clean but not stripped. The gross feeling of hair oil, sand and chlorine are all removed.

The conditioner isn’t as thick as I would like for usual use but for travel when I was my hair twice a day (morning and night) then it is more than sufficient. For less damaged hair it will be perfect of course.

The range is suitable for all hair colours, dyed or natural, so don’t worry if you aren’t a blonde!

I picked both of these up from Superdrug where they were on offer in store  2 for £8.
