Hampton by Hilton is, as you’d guess, an offshoot of the Hilton hotel chain. A global monster, Hampton aims itself at the mid priced market of travel which is another great addition to the tourism sector of Newcastle. I do think we are missing more luxe hotels but there’s clearly a call for budget style hotels.
With 160 rooms under it’s roof on Neville Street, the Hampton by Hilton property used to be home to Baron House offices until recently. Ideally placed with proximity to the train station and a metro line direct to the airport, the hotel will appeal to both business travellers and party goers alike.
Each room is fitted with it’s own HD tv, tea & coffee maker and the signature Hampton by Hilton bed and guests receive a complimentary hot breakfast included in the price. Within the hotel there is a 24hr gym, business centre, bar and wifi.
