I bought this, solely because I liked the packaging in the advert, next to Blake Lively’s perfect smug face. It’s pink and ombre. I couldn’t resist.
Marketed as a Vitamin E enriched daily moisturiser, I have been using lightly under my make up on days when I wear a matte foundation to add a little lustre and pep my skin up. I’m 31 now and not getting any younger so I am focusing on preserving what I have! It helps my matte foundation glide on easier and makes blending just that bit more effortless.
Coming out of the tube, the product is white but contains pigment particles so that when you rub it in it gives a tiny amount of sheer cover.
One word of warning though, if you use a ‘dewy’ foundation, let the moisturiser soak in fully as it takes a while and if you don’t, it kind of turns in to shine overload until things settle down, making it harder to blend.
With having the tiny tiny bit of colour to it, it is perfect for no make up days as it really is so much lighter than a BB cream or a true tinted moisturiser.
The cream comes packed with SPF20 so it is perfect for those sunny winter days when your sun defences are down.
