If you have had the heavy metal chicken tenders at Hard Rock Café then you’ll know what I mean when I say they are addictive. Gosh I could just inhale them. Breaded chicken strips coated in spicy buffalo sauce served with a cooling blue cheese dip. Oh my.
As my nearest Hard Rock is around 2hrs drive away, I had to get my fix another way and after much trial and error with different sauces and dips, we have pinned down a pretty good dupe.This is a quick recipe that is one of my week day fridge favourites. It takes no time at all to prepare and can be served as a snack, starter or like us, with a salad as a main meal. When I do have more time, I prefer to crumb and grill my own fresh chicken but when you get in from work, you just want something quick quick quick and this is ready in less than 20 minutes.
I feel a bit of a fraud even saying this is a recipe!
Breaded chicken goujons
Frank’s Buffalo Sauce
Blue Cheese dressing
Cook the chicken as recommended
Once it is out of the oven, place in a bowl and smother with the buffalo sauce
To serve, use a small bowl for the blue cheese dressing as a dip and fill up your plate with a tasty salad.
Pretty simple, pretty easy….. massively delicious and will have you wanting more.
