Hello Lovelies,
One of the latest releases from Revlon has been the much hyped Colorstay Moisture Lip Stains (£7.99). With inspiration taken directly from YSL’s Glossy Stains, these are a high street purse friendly version.
I have the original YSL Glossy Stains and the Revlon ones are definitely more pigmented, meaning you don’t have to do the layering malarkey you have to do with the YSL. They also don’t have that strange winey smell.
I have Shanghai Sizzle which is a bright red and Milan Moment which is a orangey nude.
Both incredibly glossy, light weight and hydrating on the lips. It feels like you’re applying water.
I have thoroughly enjoyed wearing these glosses and I have been reaching for them more than anything else lately because they are just so comfortable to wear. The rest of the colours don’t particularly grab me as I’m very much a red or coral kinda gal but I am keeping an eye out for a nice deep wine colour ready for Autumn and Winter.
Any idea what they will be like on dry lips?
They glide on and truly are so moist. They aren’t as thick as normal glosses so they won’t go gloopy on the flaky skin.
