Valentines Week – Food Glorious Food

Hello Lovelies,

While every local independent, national chain and kebab shop seems to have a Valentines Day special offer on (including Macdonalds) I thought I’d skip the spiel and share quite possibly the most outlandish special menu that has been dreamed up!

I think even if I had the money I’d stick to my current plan of chinese take away and blanket on the sofa – that’s love.

Not only is this meal £61,000 the wine to pair with it is £30,700! Bloody hell!

The costs break down as :

– Almus White Caviar – £3,000
– Pata Negra Iberico jambon de Bellotta – £180
– Spring white truffle – £1,000
– Pacific Blue Fin Tuna – £120
– Goose Foie Gras – £120
– English Saffron – £200
– Carabineros Prawns – £120
– Gold Leaf – £2,000
– Silver Leaf – £800
– Wagyu Beef – £200
– Truffled Brillat Savarin – £80
– Perigord Truffle – £500
– Mast Brothers Ltd Reserve Vanilla and Smoked Chocolate – £150
– Kopi Luwak Coffee – £350
– Amethyst Bamboo salt – £2,000
– Flora Danica China – £2,400
– Native South Sea oysters including pearls -£6,000
– Dry Ice – £200

To accompany the meal will be 50 rose scented candles, rose petals and white doves! Posh eh!

I think it’s just flash for the sake of flashness!
