As the weather turns a bit grimmer and the heating is cranked up, my lips and skin are the first things to dry out and suffer.
On my desk at work and in my home office, I usually have a vast array of lip products and lotions to try and hydrate my skin.
When the Vitamin E Superbalm from Superdrug landed in my lap I was quick to give it a go.
In a dinky, small, unassuming pot you could be forgiven for not expecting much. But mark my words, this packs a punch!
The Super Balm formula combines a heady dose of Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax, Avocado Oil, Macadamia Oil, Cranberry Oil and of course Vitamin E. This could be a high end product we are talking about, not a budget high street own brand!
White and milky looking, the texture under finger is slightly grainy in the pot but on contact with the skin melts down beautifully to a very lightly scented, incredibly nourishing balm.
When worn on the lips it leaves you feeling protected and hydrated without any greasiness. When rubbed in to the cuticles or dry elbows it sinks in fast and leaves a long lasting feeling of moisturisation.
It’s also great for a quick midday slick on the brows or patted on to the cheek bones for a dewy sheen if you’re hitting a bar after work!
For a very purse friendly £3.99 you simply cannot go wrong and I have found myself reaching for this over my Elizabeth Arden 8hr cream of late.
