Tonight, I have been invited to see the world renowned, revered Lady Boys of Bangkok on their annual UK tour, here in Newcastle.
I haven’t been to see one of their shows before but have always wanted to. I guess the downside of having 99% male friends is there’s always a shortage of volunteers for things like this.
I am excited to see them… so so excited, can you tell?
As I, along with my ever so glam friend Miss C, will be going to this straight from work, I am not afforded the time to change at work or head home for a sprucing up.
I have tried to adapt my work wear in to a suitable outfit that will see me from day to night without looking ruffled or dishevelled.
I will however have just enough time to change my white shirt for a black vest just before I leave.

I will be taking along a pashmina type scarf just to wear around my neck in case it gets chilly. The show is held in a purpose built outdoors marquee and as the temps have suddenly dropped to a more autumnal 10 degrees, I might just need it.
