I’ve been having a little “me” time but I was astounded that one little, unassuming lip product could bring me back in to the blogging melee quite so soon. What is that product I hear you cry? It’s a Look Beauty Fat Lips stain & balm.
The Fat Lips, not all too dissimilar to the Revlon and Clinique offering, is a more budget friendly version and in all honesty? The colour I have in front of me, Snog, blew me away.
A glossy, slightly shimmery buttery soft tinted balm that glides on like I don’t know what. I actually find the Revlon version a little too hard, and it drags on the lips on application which isn’t all too pleasant!
Snog is just a pleasure to wear on the lips. The glossy balm aspect does transfer off quite easily but the stain does certainly stay on the lips for quite a while. I have quite highly pigmented lips to start with so I can only imagine this would have more of a high impact stain on lips with less pigmentation. You certainly don’t need to wear layer upon layer to build up the colour, as you can see from my swatch below!
I actually kept this in my clutch bag recently when Mr T and I renewed our wedding vows. I was wearing a base of Lime Crimes Velvetine but needed something to go on top and I found myself reaching for this. In the hot hot heat it performed admirably and I had tonnes of compliments on my lips!
On whole, for £6 and 5 different colours to choose from, I fully recommend the Fat Lips and I can’t wait to try more of the colours!!
