MUA Undressed Palette

MUA Undressed Palette

Hello Lovelies,

Previously, I had heralded the Sleek Storm palette as my budget alternative to the Urban Decay infamous Naked palettte but today I have gone one step better and brought you an ever closer, awesome dupe at an ever tinier price!

The MUA (Make Up Academy) palette in Undressed contains 12 shades ranging from a neutral champagne to a dark steel grey colour and everything inbetween with a mix of matte and shimmer shades. Priced at a mere £4, it is a great budget friendly alternative as most of the main shades in the Naked Palette have been covered off in this one.

I know I hated the Urban Decay palette when I first got it and didn’t use it as I never thought of myself as a neutral kinda person, but then I started to find myself reaching for it more and more on a daily basis. I found some of the shades a bit hard to work with and the palette itself is SO cumbersome, when I travel it doesn’t fit in any of my make up totes so I never bother taking it which is a shame.

This is where the wonderfully dinky Undressed palette comes in to its own. Each shade is gorgeously creamy and pigmented, offering either a sheer wash with a shadow brush or packed on with an applicator. I have personally been loving applying the lighter shades with the foam applicator included to really pack on the colour, then ofsetting it with a really smokey crease using a shadow brush then blending out the two.

Size wise, as with all MUA palettes it’s nicely compact and very light weight which is in part due to it not having a mirror. With the exception of the fashionistA quad palette, I find the mirrors in most palettes next to useless anyway so having no mirror is not an issue for me.

The undressed palette will be a firm favourite from now on for my travels and I daresay every day wear. In the few days I have been wearing it I have had more compliments than I have done in 6 months of using the Naked palette so I guess I know what I’ll be using from now on!

As always with MUA, the price point is not reflective of the quality. It’s a great, budget friendly range and if you are looking for high quality make up, you’d struggle to find better, at this price. I’m a big fan of the £1 lipsticks so they are well worth checking out too.

You can buy Undressed in Superdrug stores or in their dedicated online store HERE

Have you tried MUA yet? Are you a fan?

such a MUA convert since getting the Heaven and Earth palette, I don’t wear any other eye shadow atm and I own lots of Urban Decay (but not the Naked palette), M.A.C and Benefit, so slightly annoying the best one is one that only cost £4…they should have existed sooner so I could have saved some cash!! I’m dying to get my hands on the Undressed palette for sure!
