A Jean-ius event at the Metrocentre

A Jean-ius event at the Metrocentre

Hello Lovelies,

I know this will only directly apply to my more local followers but the owners of the shopping centre may well have something similar in your area, so I thoroughly recommend you checking it out on their site HERE.

When I was approached to attend, the first thing I asked was if they will be catering for plus sizes. The answer? YES! Simply Be, Monsoon, Evans and Next are all supplying stock for the event so between all those brands, you should be covered in the 16+ corner. HUZZAH I hear you say!

I will be popping along on Saturday to grill the stylists and put them to task to find me some new jeans for my new dinky jeans size as I’m sure dear Kathryn & Daniella are now both sick of me howking up my too big jeans!

Be a fashion jean-ius with Metrocentre and Jean Genie!
Jean Genie is back! Metrocentre is proud to announce the return of the highly popular style campaign which will be in centre from Saturday 12th to Sunday 13th May and it’s completely FREE of charge! From 10am on Saturday and 11am on Sunday, the Jean Genie stylists will help shoppers of all ages find the perfect pair of jeans to fit their shape and complement their style. From bootleg to cropped, skinny to straight leg, Jean Genie aims to help solve all of your denim dilemmas!
Inspired by the likes of celebrity favourites Mila Kunis, Jay-Z and Jennifer Aniston, Jean Genie campaign aims to indulge shoppers with a unique styling experience, complete with expert stylists and the latest new season fashion to admire in centre. The stylists will also be on hand with extra tips to complete the look, including shoes and accessories from the stores within Metrocentre!
Located in Metrocentre, shoppers are invited to book their appointments in advance or on the day at www.jeangenie.uk.com to enjoy a one-to-one 30 minute consultation with the Jean Genie stylists who will ensure that they find the perfect jeans! Once shoppers have found their desired denim they will be given a unique styling card with product information so they can find exactly what they need from the stores.  Shoppers will also be treated to a complimentary £5 gift card for Metrocentre when they show proof of a purchase from their Jean Genie session. Plus, there will be an exclusive Jean Genie guide containing top tips for finding the perfect pair of jeans, understanding your shape, celebrity inspirations, accessory trends and some fantastic retail offers.
Karen Carr, Marketing Manager at Metrocentre comments, “After the tremendous success of the Jean Genie campaign earlier last year, we are extremely excited to see the styling pods back in centre. We like to provide our shoppers with a personal touch to make their shopping experience as exclusive and enjoyable as possible. The stylists will be on hand throughout the event to assist shoppers with queries, worries and questions about how to find the perfect pair of jeans and where to find it in centre! With summer just around the corner, now is the perfect time to find your dream denim with the fantastic fashion in centre!”
Michaela Dale of Metrocentre Style Team says, “Jeans are a staple piece for every wardrobe and work well for so many of us because they come in such a great range of different styles, shapes and fits. For example, skinny jeans are perfect for a longer leg whilst bootleg is ideal for complementing a full hourglass figure.  Denim can be glamourised with heels and accessories or dressed down with comfy cottons for a soft luxe look – the versatility means jeans can suit anyone’s style! Jean Genie is about finding the perfect pair of jeans to suit your look whilst complementing your shape and style, why not be bold this season with fabulous printed jeans and candy coloured denim to brighten up your spring attire!”

Will you be popping along to the Metro to find some new jeans and bag a gift card?
