Marriott Hotel Leeds

Marriott Hotel Leeds

For the best part of a year, whilst working away, I called the Marriott Hotel Leeds home.

Tucked away in a cute, quiet square just off Boar Lane opposite the new Trinity shopping centre, you can escape the hubbub of central city noise whilst still being a mere 10 minute walk from the train station and for me, the all important Harvey Nichols!

Dominating the riverside, the Malmaison hotel stands tall at the northern side of the Millennium bridge. With 6 floors of  guest room splendour, you are spoiled with picture perfect views from the windows.

Built in 1902 by Louis Gustave Mouchel, the former Co-operative Bonded Warehouse now houses a total of 9 floors of sheer opulence and luxury for lucky guests to enjoy. From the basement spa and leisure facilities to the the ground floor Starbucks to the upstairs Mal bar and hot new Chez Mal Brasserie.

I have teamed up with www.Holidaygems.co.uk to bring you an alternative guide to Kavos!

Imlil – Atlas Mountains, Morocco

Imlil – Atlas Mountains, Morocco

Of course with an increase in tourists, local residents set up shop here – restaurants, cafes, hotels and shops all soon followed.

Midtown East Courtyard Hotel, Manhattan, New York

Midtown East Courtyard Hotel, Manhattan, New York

Whilst planning our trip to New York, we knew we had to stay in a Marriott as I good old loyal Marriott Rewards member. After much debating, we chose the Midtown East Courtyard Hotel.

Arriving by cab from the Airport, the unassuming Courtyard entrance nestles between a 24hr Duane Reade and a bank. Perfect place for a make up shopping fanatic? Yes!
