I always try to stay on budget at Christmas. I make lists, I plan ahead and I maximise sale days, discounts and loopholes where possible. I shop big so the more money I can keep in my pocket through Christmas Budgeting, the better it is for me to treat myself in the sales!

As we move into the latter stages of 2018, it’s fair to say that virtual reality has been a little bit underwhelming. While it’s still a major technology and one we should all keep an eye on, it hasn’t exactly “changed the game,” so to speak.
Mark Zuckerberg himself, who, through Facebook, is heavily invested in the success of VR, said just last year that it will be 10 years before we really get to where we want to go with the technology. To maximise my money and make more trips possible, I try to cut costs and save money where I can. I bought a new coffee machine to stop me buying take away coffee and the saving was significant.
