It is one of those places I only ever seem to be in the vicinity of when it is closed so you can imagine when both of our days off lined up and we jumped at the chance to pay a visit. We actually we ate our way around Newcastle in the same day but that’s a different story!
I don’t normally make a habit of staying in hotels so close to home but last weekend I attended an event on the Quayside and priced a taxi. The Ramada Encore Gateshead came back only slightly more expensive than a taxi so I pushed the boat out and booked in.
