Learning to Drive

It is 17 years since I learned to drive. Jesus where has that time gone? My Neighbours youngest son is just learning to drive now and I remember him just being a little kid, so I feel very old!

Driving and cars are my passion and it’s one I share with my Husband and my family – thankfully – so I am always patient and kind to learner drivers out on the road. We ALL learned once.

If you are taking your first lessons this summer, I have 5 top tips for techy assistance whilst learning.

Designated Driver Scheme

Designated Driver Scheme Newcastle

At this time of year, being the designated driver can be both a blessing or a curse. Whether it is by necessity or choice, buying soft drinks, mocktails or alco free beers can all add up to just as an expensive night as one on the booze but you get the joy, usually, of ferrying your drunk mates home after the Christmas Party. Essential Car Care

Essential Car Care

If you follow me on just about any social media, you know how fond I am of cars. I.LOVE.THEM. More importantly I love my cars more than I think may love the husband… it’s OK though, he feels the same!

The future of alternative fuel vehicles

If there is one thing I truly love as much as red lipstick and handbags, it’s cars. Any way, shape or form. LOVE THEM. Thankfully it is an interesting shared with Mr Tramp.

Previously he had a 2.5l turbo petrol car and with the cost of fuel going up, he bought a diesel car to give greater MPG. I drive a 2.5l petrol 4×4 and for all MPG doesn’t really bother me, I am always keen to look at alternatives such as the Mitsubish PHEV.

With this playing heavy on everyones mind, I have a really interesting infographic for you from Motorparks which will help clue you up!
