I was dubious that such a gentle looking brush could handle the monster that is my wet coarse knotty hair but it did. With ease.

I have coarse blonde hair and even when it is freshly conditioned, I need to treat it with extra care to avoid snaps in the bleached ends. They are also great for sensitive scalps as they are gentle and men can even use them too as they are great at adapting to shorter styles due to the flexible bristles.

Don’t be fooled by the name, the Wet Brush Original Detangler is great for dry hair too. The gentle bristles and cushioned hair makes brushing out your daily style a doddle. I get little dreaded tats at the nape of my neck from always wearing my hair up and the Wet Brush Original Detangler makes gentle work of ridding them.

The mini sizes are perfect for throwing in to your travel bag, pool bag or a gym bag for on the move. I find the bristles far too soft for catching all those baby hairs at the hairline if I am using it to style my hair in to an up-do but it’s a small price to pay for not having detangling woes.
