I spotted this stripey shirt dress on the New Look website recently and had to buy it.
The classic stripes remind me of summer and straw boater hats. Cute as it is, I have been wearing it 2 different ways to get my money out of the piece and make it verstatile.
The shirt dress from New Look Curve (£24.99), belted, is on the dressy side of casual with some tan sandals. Dressy enough for date day but also a trip to the shops with the girls.
My favourite way to wear the dress is as a long duster jacket. With ripped light denim jeans, sandals and a simple vest, the shirt makes me feel pulled together and polished in what is a very basic outfit.
