YSL Glossy Stain Corail Hold Up #105

YSL Glossy Stain Corail Hold Up #105

You know me, I am a sucker for a pretty lip product. It’s been 4yr since I first discovered the YSL Glossy Stains (£26) and I recently treated myself to a new one. OK, so I was feeling as sick as a dog and decided a trip to House of Fraser would make me feel better, so this is a medicinal beauty buy!

If you haven’t read my last review, here,  then let me tell you a little bit about these little tubes of gloop!

The Glossy Stain formula was revolutionary when it launched as it meant you could combine the shine of a gloss with the long lasting power of a lip stain – hence the name. 1 coat gives a subtle gloss that will last, build it up to 2 or 3 thin coats for ultimate shine and longevity.

The gloss gives the product a hydrating feel on the lips as I find a lot of long lasting products and stains to be incredibly drying but not with this. Yes you need to top up during the day but it is certainly a lot less than a regular gloss, trust me. When the shine does inevitably wear off, you are still left with a gorgeous film of colour so don’t worry about being left high and dry with bare lips during a working day!

Corail Hold Up is part of the Rebel Nudes Collection and gives a gorgeous coral pop of colour with an incredibly subtle gold shimmer laced through. The gold shimmer and the gloss makes this just a stunning colour that makes me feel polished and put together. It is the perfect shade for every occasion and I am very glad I picked it up.

I can’t wait to wear it later in the summer with a tan!

I haven’t tried these yet as I’m in love with the Rouge Volupte Shine formula but I have been eyeing these up. I have quite lot of lip products and may look these up when I’m in need of something different. Great review.
