Who can resist a bit of glitz at Christmas? Who am I kidding, glitter is for life not just Christmas. That’s my rule!
I had my nails done this week ready for our Christmas party and I can’t stop looking at them!
I get my talons tamed at Thorns Beauty in Newcastle City Centre. I book in to see the lovely Christine and Abby and they look after me a treat. Christine is a genius when it comes to acrylic and Abby gave me the ultra glitter and the adorable penguin – he’s called Percy fyi.
The glitter is a ‘Black Dust’ Gel Polish and the Penguin was drawn freehand with Gel Polish too and cured.
I have been having my nails done by the girls for years now and I won’t go anywhere else. They were previously based in Durham City, then moved to Chester le Street and like an ever loyal customer I just follow them round the North East.
Thorns Beauty is tucked away at the end of Saville Row and offers full beauty services from threading brows to the most incredible luxury pedicures – ah bliss!
If you are needing your nails done, I can’t recommend them highly enough. The salon operates on a walk in basis but you can call to make an appointment at a specific time which is very handy at this time of year!
Christine and Abby always give me the perfect nails and they are just the nicest nail techs I have ever met. It is testament to their skill that I am willing to travel the North East!
