I’m not one to turn away from a challenge and when a reader asked me to try out a dubious lip plumping tool designed to give us a Kylie Jenner pout, I accepted.
This plumper was around £10 from Ebay which is a hell of a lot cheap than the Candylipz version. In for a penny, in for a pound, I placed my order and then waited for delivery.
Not going to lie, it looks like something you’d see at a ‘lady doctors’ office or a shee-wee but fear not, it goes on your lips. Through the power of suction and some gentle pumping of the barrel, you are meant to end up poutier than Pete Burns. Don’t know who he is? Google him!
Did it work?
No. Hell no.
I felt the suction but there was absolutely no difference at all and once you tried to pump the tube it just slipped off. A few of us have had a go with it now and there was no effect.
Save your money ladies and stick to plumping lip glosses!
