Hello Lovelies,
In a market already packed with products, Aussie have rolled out a range of dry shampoos to supplement their existing hair care products.
With 3 different aims (Mega Instant, Aussome Volume + Colour Mate), the product is clear, light and has that usual Aussie aroma. It is also available in handbag size and regular. The packaging had a slightly nicer feel to it that its competitors.
I have been trying out the Colour Mate dry shampoo and I can safely say I am on the fence with this one. I don’t feel like it freshened my roots in the slightest and it left my hair feeling a bit odd. On the upside, it didn’t have that chalky white powder that is a curse for brunettes.
The smell lingered and it’s not one I care for but as I have recently changed my hair colour I was thankful it didn’t leave me with white roots. If you are wanting something to really soak up some root grease to get you through one more day, this might not be the one for you. It certainly didn’t do anything for me that I good updo couldn’t.
Maybe I picked the wrong type and should have tried the Mega Instant, I don’t know, but I don’t think i’ll be repurchasing.
You can buy the Aussie Dry Shampoo from Boots and all usual Aussie stockists.
