At the tail end of 2013, we visited Raithwaite Estate near Whitby to experience a night in pure luxury as well as learn more about the latest addition to the Raithwaite Estate compliment – luxury self catering cottages.
The Fold, with 7 new accommodation offerings suited to a couple all the way up to a large party there is something for everyone. Each cottage is immaculately presented and freshly renovated. The kitchens boast the latest gadgets, sofas to relax on and forget about the outside world as well as opulent bathrooms with tubs you could get lost in. With each property curated by the Estate Manager, the attention to detail in every single room is astounding, making you feel like you are in your own luxury lifestyle magazine shoot.
To supplement your luxury 3 night minimum stay you can hire your own private chef and butler from the main hotel to make sure you and your guests every need are met. Use of the leisure facilities in the main hotel are included so if you can tear yourself away from the views from your private patio or from a hot chocolate under a blanket on the sofas, you can still squeeze in a massage or swim.
Based only a few miles away from Whitby and within walking distance to the quaint and picturesque Sands End, you are spoiled for bracing fresh air and postcard perfect views, surrounded by 100 acres of perfectly kept estate grounds.
If you are feeling adventurous, Raithwaite Hall works in partnership with Yorkshire Outdoors to provide a myriad of outdoors activities such as Shooting, Off roading and Segway safaris. We will be checking them out very soon for a shooting day!
If the thought of having to cook your own breakfast and wash your own dishes is a little bit too much like home, you can opt to stay in the main Hall. With rooms tastefully decorated to a high standard, HUGE walk in showers, balconies, bed you don’t want to leave and service to make you feel like you are the only guest in the world… who can argue with that? With food offered throughout the day, from a hearty Yorkshire breakfast, light lunch to fine dining you are spoiled for choice. You can even wash down your evening meal with one of Raithwaite’s own bottled ales.
Prices in the hotel start from £125 per room per night on a B+B basis.
This looks gorgeous! 🙂
