Despite being a huge fan of 50s and ‘alternative’ fashion that reflects in my day to day wear I also absolutely love a preppy, earthy heritage style. Gorgeous tweeds, brogues, check shirts, soft sweaters and big snuggly coats. Classically and traditionally, in Field sports, there is a dress code and I try to stick to it as close as possible sourcing high street plus size pieces and then injecting a little twist. Today for example, I am wearing a gorgeous cable knit sweater with a Tattersall shirt underneath, a tweed field coat and then thrown in a rose gold studded bun band in my hair and a pair of black studded loafers!
I have been aware of Timeout for a while as the mens clothes are divine and we stocked up on some in America for hubs but it was only this week I realised they sell womens plus size clothes via Simply Be. I was trawling the sweaters on Simply Be and spotted a gorgeous petrol coloured jumper so that went straight in to my shopping cart (and then bought, waiting on delivery now!!)
From the A/W ’13 offerings, I have picked out my favourites from the brand.
I am obsessing over the blazer and the denim shirt. The shirt will look lovely underneath the sweater I have already bought or under the blazer or knitted cardy.
