HealGel Eye

Healgel - Eye

I  have been testing HealGel Eye (£32) recently and I love it. Created in 2012 by world renowned cosmetic surgeons to sit alongside the existing HealGel, the eye cream has been developed to combat dark circles, puffiness, dryness and fine lines.

As I have just turned 32, this is right up my street!

Angeethi’s Sommelier and Spice evening

Angeethi Low Fell

When Priya Mishra opened Angeethi less than two years ago in Low Fell, one thing was clear. She didn’t want the restaurant to go down the fusion cuisine route. Instead, traditional family dishes are served with skill and style by the highly experienced kitchen team with a nod to Indian street food.

Priya’s passion and enthusiasm for the food she presents is boundless and at the forefront is a strong desire to quash the belief that you can only eat curry after 5 pints of lager. This is the driving force behind the partnership with HB Clark wines and the Sommelier and Spice tasting evening. With Sommelier David Robertson on hand to curate a perfectly matched selection we were in for a treat.

THE summer sandals from New Look

New Look Shoes

You might have seen these babies crop up in an outfit post a little while back but after someone admired them on Instagram I feel compelled to show them off again!

With a silver holographic and black strap, these Birkenstock-a-like soled sandals are so comfy and easy to wear. The plain colour way means they go with even the snazziest of summer outfits and slip on for effortless poolside chic too. The holographic iridescence catches the sun and looks so pretty and the black patent heel strap looks a bit smart.

George at Asda 3 in 1 capsule challenge

George at Asda Pencil Skirt

The lovely guys from George at Asda recently set me the challenge of transforming 1 basic item in to 3 different outfits for 3 very different occasions.

The key to a successful capsule wardrobe is starting with good base pieces. I chose a black jersey pencil skirt (£8) from the Plus Size range to start with. I absolutely love multi-purpose wardrobe items and I always like to think of different ways I can wear a piece before I buy it.

Click below to keep on reading how I turned 1 skirt in to 3 sleek and chic looks. Work, Sight seeing and drinks with the girls.
