When bloggers and beauty lovers alike rave about a product, you know it’s got to be worth checking out, right?
On a recent shopping trip, I finally found some stock of the Make Up Revolution 32 Shade Eyeshadow Palette in Flawless (£8) which seems to be like hens teeth right now – RARE.
Boasting a whopping 32 shades in a mixture of matte and shimmer, light and dark, there is literally something for everyone. No wonder everyone loves this palette!
Did I love it though, that’s the question.
I found the packaging to be sturdy and the huge mirror is a godsend. The colour choice in the palette means you can take your look from day to night or subtle to dramatic with 1 handy dandy kit.
I find some of the lighter shades to be very samey on my skintone, with the shimmers pulling through with a blue tone and the mattes just not being pigmented enough to give me full coverage.
The mid to dark shades are brilliant. Buttery soft and deeply pigmented, they apply like a dream. I can’t believe how good they are for only £8. It works out at only 4p per shadow. FOUR PENCE!
This is a great kit builder for someone wanting to expand their make up collection or for people in a rush and need a 1 stop shop for eye looks.
I just got my hands on some Revolution palettes after being unable to sustain my Urban Decay Naked addiction and I’m pretty impressed! I’d say the same as you – the matte light tones don’t stay put at all. But I love the shimmery deeper tones!
