Every spring, I dig out my trusty white skinny jeans and pair them with a crisp blue shirt, nautical stripe or a bold coral. Then I get them grubby before I even make it out of my bedroom, change them and then stuff them back in to my wardrobe.
Not the most flattering colour to wear but if you pick the right pair for your shape, they can look incredible – whatever your shape or size.
I just need to find a pair made of cat proof, make up and coffee resistant fabric….
I have been obsessed with floaty loose shirts latey. I just can’t get enough and now the weather is mildly starting to resemble spring, I have been flashing a bit of flesh – ankle flesh!
Last week, the brand new plus size line from River Island launched amid lots of ooh’s and aah’s.
Extending their mainline, the RI Plus range runs from 18 – 24. Whilst there’s a a bit of chatter about stopping at a size 24, I think there’s a great selection and it is wonderful to see a big chain taking on an extended line.

I have that fun task of holiday clothes shopping and this year I have 3 trips to differing ‘warm’ climates so I am trying to stock up on essentials early. The early SS16 offerings mean I can layer up and get plenty of wear out of the items this year.
