Finding your inner peace

The Rockies Colorado

I’m still in that post holiday zen chilled out bubble as 3 weeks out of the office with minimal online time and no stress was just what I needed.

I’ve had a few doses of negativity and drama since I got back but I have found it so easy to just cut it and the guilty offenders out of my life instead of fretting about it. I think I have the holiday to thank for that as I don’t want anyone to bring down my relaxed mood!

It seems like I am not the only one wanting inner peace and to minimise stress levels so I have some super handy hints and tips from todays guest – Rebecca Moore

Stationery from TK MAXX & HomeSense

TK MAXX HomeSense Stationery

Everyone loves pretty stationery right? Everyone has boxes of empty notebooks they have bought on whim…. just in case you need one in the future? No? Just me then!

My absolute favourite place to pick up unique and unusual stationery is TK MAXX / HomeSense. With each store having their own individual stock, you can always find a gem regardless of which store you visit. In fact, the things I buy most from the joint stores are notebooks and hot sauce!

Essential Car Care

Essential Car Care

If you follow me on just about any social media, you know how fond I am of cars. I.LOVE.THEM. More importantly I love my cars more than I think may love the husband… it’s OK though, he feels the same!

Thankfully both of our cars don’t need MOT’s yet but we have all been there, the dreaded wait to see if your car will make it through. Not only does George Osbourne announce his budget tomorrow, it is believed that both Insurance Premium Tax and Fuel Duty will both increase.

Saving money at MOT time is always welcome so Motorparks have prepared a really useful guide to prepping for an MOT.

The Full Moon Market February 2016

7XsCZrMn3qPT1sy4nyhjWF3OfKBiP0f_USOJuJRhvWo

Back at the end of last year, my fair old city was graced with a night time food market – The Full Moon Market – by the crew behind the Durham Street Food Project.

I am all for more things like this happening in Durham, so I will be there again with bells on and I hope to see some of you there too for tasty treats!

Hopefully we will see more from regulars Papa Ganoush, Fat Hippo and Scream Pizza.
