Designated Driver Scheme

Designated Driver Scheme Newcastle

At this time of year, being the designated driver can be both a blessing or a curse. Whether it is by necessity or choice, buying soft drinks, mocktails or alco free beers can all add up to just as an expensive night as one on the booze but you get the joy, usually, of ferrying your drunk mates home after the Christmas Party. Yay.

In a bid to drastically cut down the amount of drink drivers at this festive time of year, many City Centre bars are now adopting the Designated Driver scheme.

Edinburgh Christmas Market

Edinburgh Christmas Market 2016

Taking over Princes Street Gardens, the annual event is a melting pot of sights, sounds and of course the delicious smells.

I visited, along with my blogging besty Vicky to see what the fair city had to offer. View Post
