Hello Lovelies,

As part of my life outside of blogging, I am involved with several large north east companies running and managing their PR & Marketing activities.

On of the companys I have previously worked with, Eclipse Performance, who I have spoke about before, was filmed last summer as part of an upcoming Channel 4 documentary featuring Grayson Perry.

It’s theme seems to be about ‘working class Sunderland’ but the spiel we were given was that they were looking for people who were passionate about something, regardless of what it was.

I haven’t seen a preview episode of this so I will be watching it tomorrow with baited breath. It will be interesting to see how they have portrayed Eclipse along with car enthusiasts of the north.

The show is called ‘All in the best possible taste’ and it is on at 10pm tonight on Channel 4.

Can’t wait to see it and hear what people think.

Hello Lovelies,

Sorry I’m a day late with this, I usually start drafting my WKD during the week, adding photos to it as they occur but life has well and truly got in the way this week! Blimey!

Nothing much to report except that I reached my next big stone milestone on my diet journey which I am over the moon with considering I had attended a rather lavish night at Fat Buddha in Newcastle to celebrate it’s opening and then a Newcastle Fashion Week afternoon tea event, both of which were with my partner in blog-crime, Daniella. Keep your eyes peeled for a run down of these events in picture form, coming soon.

The reason I was late posting this yesterday is that I had foolishly volunteered to look after my friends 4yr old twins, Lillie & Alex, while she went out on a first date with another of my friends.

We spent the day at Adventure Valley, an huge adventure farm play park in the local area. We bounced, climbed and slid for 6hours before making a retreat back to the comfort of my house for Ipad colouring in and some comedy photos with the Photobooth app. Yes, I ache in places a grown woman is not meant to ache and double yes that I climbed to the top of the childs play frame and hid. That’s how I roll! I really enjoyed it, can’t wait for the next time but I think Mr Tramp and I are even more resolute that children are just not for us! ha!

I know I normally insert photos of my week here BUT… I think this photo is just awesome and sums up my entire week!

This is Lillie….

Hello Lovelies,

Have you all been enjoying the gorgeous sun? I’ve been stealing some sneaky time off this weekend from my projects and (safely) basking in the sunlight. Bliss! I tan very very easily so I’ve been topping up my tan. Mr Tramp is sadly whiter than white and goes lobster pink before returning to white.

It’s been quite quiet in Tramp Towers this week until it got to the weekend and it seems like we have done nothing but entertain, socialise and eat out (Boo for the diet!). Speaking of diets, I lost a fantastical 4.5lb this week and I am a mere 0.5lb from my next big stone milestone… I doubt this weekend has helped reach that though but hey, I’ve done so well, I deserve to have a good time and even though we ate out, I picked the best, healthiest choices each time. Yes I’m on a diet but it’s not dictating how I live my life!

Our two gorgeous friends got married on Saturday and it was amazing to watch them celebrate their big day. It made us quite nostalgic for our wedding, almost 6yr ago! Blimey! The highlight of the wedding had to be one of the grooms friends. He is a professional and much sought after Jaws lookalike and he very kindly posed the night away wearing some insanely impressive metalwork in his gob. The picture below is grainy as hell as it’s from my phone!

Today has seen Mr T and I head in to our city, Durham, to have a belated birthday celebration with Mr T’s Dad and partner. The day was spent soaking up the inner city sun in quite possibly the most beautiful city in the country (I’m a bit biased though). We had drinks in a beer garden watching the world go by before having lunch in the delicious Fat Buddha before more drinks. Such a great day!

In the coming week, I have a few great events to attend and a night out with my blogging partner in crime, Daniella, before enjoying a lovely long weekend. I’m hoping to spend some time with my amazing friends and Mr T, so fingers crossed the weather is good!

Enjoy the coming week and let’s catch up next Sunday.

Hello Lovelies,

PHEW, what a week!

Sorry I am a day late with this which isn’t like me but I did mention last week I wasn’t sure whether I would be able to get the post up yesterday seeing as I’m away and reliant on crappy wifi.

So anyways, i’m a day late.

The week started off very quiet for me, working as usual but my birthday bonanza started on Thursday with a fab girlie lunch with the one and only Daniella, who absolutely spoiled me rotten with awesome gifts. We went for Teppanyaki in Newcastle and I even managed to catch the omlette that the hot plate master hurled at me.

Friday, I’m not going to lie, saw me getting up at an ungodly hour to drive to London. Yes folks, I went to Harry Potter world…. much to the amusement of Becky from Mrs BeBe’s Ramblings. I’m not a one of ‘those’ Potter fans but it was really interesting and a must see if you liked the books and films. We got lots of great photos and behind the scenes stories so it really was just great.

Friday evening saw us meet up with friends in London for dinner and drinks.. and cruelly, thanks to Mr Tramp, major cringing in front of the entire Hard Rock Cafe who all sang me Happy Birthday. Oh the shame! I did sacrifice my diet just to have their Heavy Metal chicken and fajitas but hey, it’s my birthday and I’ll cry if I want too.. and by cry, I mean eat junk food!

I had won the Nazila competition to go and see Ghost but unfortunately my other plans took precedence which is a shame but on hindsight, bro’s before Gho’s (Yes, I’m trying to be cool!)

Saturday I took Mr Tramp to Madame Tussaud’s as he had never been before. I have and I must say, it has changed LOTS since I was last there and I hate to say it, not for the better. Still, we went, we saw and we queued. It’s one to cross off the list isn’t it.

Now there’s sad news folks. I had my birthday present money burning a hole in my pocket and I didn’t buy a single thing. Boy did I try. I think I did 4 laps of the handbag rooms in Harrods and not one single bag jumped out at me… well… a Chanel one did but they didn’t have it in the colour & hardware combination I wanted…. and also typically, the watch I wanted was also out of stock. It just wasn’t my weekend!

Now.. on with the pictures for this hectic birthday week!

Fitting back in to much smaller dresses | I’m ready for the Sun | Yummy Sushi | New Betsey Johnson Necklace | Big camera, Little camera, cardboard cup | Harry Potter world | I don’t want to be here | Beautiful Gary Oldman <3 | Lots of washing up | HP MUA’s love MAC | There’s a theme here | Pendulum | Death Eater | My new office inspiration | Posing with Butterbeer (rank!) | Us! My country home | Cheesy shit photo | Standard blogger mirror shot | Sam’s about to burst | Dinner Doggy Bag | Me and Elvis | Luckily NOT our hotel | Canary Wharf DLR | M&M & Laduree goodies

Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes, whether it was here on my blog or via Twitter, it was very much appreciated.

Love to you all
