I spotted this stripey shirt dress on the New Look website recently and had to buy it.
The classic stripes remind me of summer and straw boater hats. Cute as it is, I have been wearing it 2 different ways to get my money out of the piece and make it verstatile.
If you look in my holiday suitcase or even in my wardrobe, you’ll see a massive stack of jersey harem pants in just about every colour or pattern you can imagine. Maybe it’s an addiction or maybe they are just so damned comfy.
I like to wear mine loose, with a vest top and sandals to be comfortable in the heat but the patterned trouser also makes you look a little more polished and put together than shorts or leggings. Yes you can get some massive baggy ridiculous ones but most high street stores now are stocking a more streamlined structured style of harems.
You can guarantee when I next go on holiday in September, I’ll be wearing them a lot, like I did in America back in May.
