Yes to Cucumbers Sensitive Skin Calming Face Mask

Yes to Cucumbers Sensitive Skin Calming Face Mask

Hello Lovelies,

This is my first foray in to the Yes To… skin care brand and I am more than impressed. I picked up some wipes and this mask on a whim as they were included in the ASOS sale (£9.50 – Mask).

I am so pleased to have finally got on board with the brand love as this face mask is just brilliant.

I have hypersensitive skin with a lot of redness through the cheeks so I try to avoid masks as it either makes the redness worse or I react badly to it.

In the tub, it is a thick white clay style mask that is very easy to spread and apply to the skin. A little goes a long way and as soon as you apply it, you can feel the product cooling the skin.

Packed with aloe vera for it’s natural moisturising properties and cucumber, best known for it’s cooling effects also soothes and softens the skin.

I did panic slightly applying it as it just looks and feels like hair removal cream and it has that very same smell too. A fresh cucumber smell that isn’t overpowering but very reminiscent of hair remover! Imagine my panic that i’d scooped from the wrong pot!

I left the mask on my face, as instructed, for 5 minutes before rinsing off. The mask had set to a firm chalky finish but rinsed off very easily.

My skin was left feeling nourished, soothed and calm. My redness had been reduced and it lasted a couple of days before it slowly crept back in. I had no reaction to this product and even after 1 use I can really see the benefits. Fully recommended!

I haven’t tried the wipes as yet but I will let you know my thoughts on them. While writing this post I spotted this travel kit on the Yes To website…. I must buy this!

The only downside is I have seen whispers on the old interwebs that is has been discontinued. ASOS, BeautyBay etc are all still selling it but I recommend you stock up on it just in case. I know I am going to buy some back ups
