On a Saturday afternoon we trekked our way to the coast to finally visit the heralded Omni Cafe in Monkseaton. A short 2 minute amble from the Metro Station, this is a gem for the locals.
Ever had a delicious meal in a restaurant and don’t want to finish it because then it will be over? Imagine feeling like that but then being able to go home and make the exact same thing. This is how we felt when we popped along to our first Thaikhun Thai Cookery Class.
Sitting high above the City, Chaophraya is the jewel in the crown for the new Eldon Square dining concept. As it’s namesake river, The Chao Phraya, works it way through the centre of Bangkok, the Newcastle version has settled nicely in to it’s new abode. Have you visited the Metrocentre since it revamped and expanded the eateries available in the Qube? There’s plenty of choice from the big chains and usual suspects but our favourite is Thaikhun which offers a taste of Thai street food right here in the North East.
